My Story

Behind the Words

I am a results-focused Communications and Writing professional looking for new opportunities to apply my expertise. I enjoy learning how to enhance why and how we interact in the writing world. I aspire to create content that engages audiences and inspires them through the content that shapes this industry.

I love collaborating with teams from different backgrounds, mindsets, and cultures that help me learn and become a more worldly writer. I spend time learning what I can from my peers and leaders and have worked with software engineers, project managers, non-profit directors, and various writers. Whether through my attention to detail or my enthusiasm for writing, I create impactful and concise content.

I was born and raised in El Paso, Tx. I studied Creative Writing at Carnegie Mellon University before pursuing a Master’s in Professional Writing, and then ventured off to Cornell University for a Masters in Business Administration.

Outside of a UX writer, I work on a fantasy novel I hope to publish – I am also an avid lover of poetry and reading. When I can, I enjoy a good workout, snowboarding, or spending time outdoors to unwind.
